The first step in being a part of our GO Team at Discover Church is Growth Track (GT). GT meets on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 10am. During this meeting, you will hear the heart of DC, a message from Pastors Curtis & Amy, & about all the ways you can serve on the GO Team. {ALL Go Team members MUST participate in GT before serving}.
Every Sunday we have an average of 25 Go Team members serving in an array of positions at the Discover Church. There is a spot there for you as well. We exercise in Serve One, Attend One - meaning that on Sundays, you would serve in your Go Team area for one gathering and than be able to participate in the Worship Gathering at the other time as well. As important as serving is, it is even more important that you spend time in worship as well on Sundays.
We know individual schedules vary & not everyone can serve on the weekends due to work & personal schedules. We have several Serve opportunities that take place throughout the week, during special events & even outreach serve days. All members of the Serve team will need to attend GrowthTrack as well. If you are not able to make GT on a Sunday, we would love to meet with you at a time that works with your schedule!
