At Discover Church, our passion has always been to prepare leaders for local church ministry-in particular, those seeking to enter full-time Ministry. The Matthew 28:18 Scholarship has been implemented to encourage students to follow the call God has placed on their lives.

Details:

The potential one time $500 scholarship is open to students graduating from a Sussex County high school going directly into a college, university, or ministry school with a ministry major (Pastoral, Student Ministry, Worship, Missions, Media, etc).

The Scholarship application form will open on January 1st each year and close May 1st. 

Mailed, hand-delivered, shipped, and emailed applications will not be accepted or acknowledged after May 1st. 

Applications are not complete until we have received ALL required items within the application, including essay and required references.

Consideration and award will be based on:

• Current church involvement and areas the applicant is serving currently in a local church.

• GPA & other relevant awards.

• The applicants response on the application about Ministry Goals & Community Service.

• The clarity of their essay.

• Financial Need based on their families ability to pay for schooling and other scholarships awarded.
