2022 YEAR IN REVIEW

GOD IS STILL AT WORK!

We continue to be amazed at what God is doing through Discover Church in 2022! At the risk of repeating ourselves too frequently, the truth is, the best part about DC is you. No matter how you found yourself reading our “2022 Year in Review," we love you & are honored to be in this together with every one of you! We don’t care what part we play; we are just thankful to play a part.

We have learned a lot over this past year and continue to do so. We thank God for all that He is doing in our community, and we believe that the best is yet to come! So, here’s to 2023! Let us be in awe of God. Let us live sent, open-handed, and united. Let us reach, serve, & love more people than we ever dreamed possible, in Jesus’ name.

This number is amazing and we believe it's actually higher. We celebrate big for each person who says “yes” to a personal relationship with Jesus. We are continuing to identify ways to best equip individuals to live on mission and to build disciples for Jesus.

We know to some numbers may not be that important, however we know every number is a name. Each one is a son or daughter of God that He wants to have a close relationship with. So lets celebrate that in one year we've grown over-all 29% and 36% in DC Kids alone! In fact, by December 2022 we averaged 201 in attendance with 52 students in weekend worship.

Finding Community. We grow big by staying connected in Small Groups. 2022 we witnessed our largest Small Group offerings ever, with 22 groups over three semesters. The only question should be, are you part of a group?

From Groups for Middle & High School Students to all kinds for adults, Small Groups have been a huge part of Discover since day one. We're excited that more people joined a small group in 2022 then ever before. We're looking forward to seeing you in a group this year.
